Newbies Guide to VMaxForum.Net -- Registration

Welcome! You have joined one of the best online forums for the Yamaha VMax. If you new to this forum software or just new to forums in general, than hopefully the guide will help you out!
First, if you have not registered an account name, do so now. Registering lets you post questions and answers and allows you into areas that unregistered vistors can't access. First click on the register button on the navigation bar.

Next will be screen that says you agree to the forum rules (very few) and some other legal stuff that keeps me out of court! :) Clicking on the box marked in the picture below means you agree to the rules.

You are now at the registration screen. Enter the name that you want to be known as on the forum. Do not put your real name here unless that is how you want to be known on the board. Next enter a password so that you can log in to your account. Please keep track of your password as I can only reset passwords not tell you what it is.
Now enter your email address. Make sure you enter a proper email address as that is where the forum will send your confirmation email to. You need to receive this confirmation email to get registered on the forum. If you do receive this email, send a contact mail to either the Administrator or a Moderator on this forum, and we will contact you. Now enter the letters you see in the Image Verification box. This is done to make sure that an actual person is entering this information. There are automated bots run with scripts that create accounts on forums and spam them with garbage messages. This helps prevent this. If you cannot read the letters in the box, send a contact mail to either the Administrator or a Moderator on this forum, and we will contact you.

Fill in the rest of the form and click Complete Registration at the bottom of the page.

If everything was filled out correctly you will get a message saying that an email was sent your email account to finish off the registration process. Go to your email and click on the link that is in the message.

You are now registered!!
