Emissions i mean in '85 there still were no exhaust regulations so fuel and ignition settings were just set for best performances. I had a '91 european 102hp. Then I had a 2000 American 140hp and from 2k to 4k the old '91 was literally eating the 140hp
Also cold start was just a half second Amy...
Hi I'm sorry for your brother.
Damn this thing is an amazing one!
'85 all original and only 5k miles
Yamaha should grant you a spot in their museum.
You should leave it as is, just as Max said, fix whatever needs to due to long time sitting.
Being '85 the carburation will also be as raw as it...

Found this other Website selling PS444
but still image shows a shock with no PS logo in cylinder under the springs
What you guys think?
Hi Max how are you
Put some Hagons on mine back in '97
Now dead
Would like to try the 444
On PS website they're in back order and available since 03.17
https://www.progressivesuspension.com/product/1423/444-series-shocks
Then I found them on another website, available and cheaper
Ever had...
That was amazing THAAAANKS!
I always wondered how all these fails arrive to us
I mean, if someone is filming someone else failing, ok he will share
But when it's just a guy filming his self/herself...who then decided to upload it?!? 😂
Polishing I noticed that right air scoop has got a protecting grill obviously
Instead left one has got a grill but it's sealed internally with a plate
Is it this way originally or must be something done by previous owner?
Can I remove this back plate?
Max you're always funny (in the good way!)
Thanks for worrying and warning
But don't, I'll do things on my own, won't buy any spare
Well except maybe clutch slave gasket or what will be the leak cause
More than help, thanks!
I was going to downsell mine and buy another!
Now I started polishing and making little fixes. First one a constant oil drop from clutch slave I guess
Just started running and problem is solved. Now just 20 seconds driving and temp drops immediately by 10°C
And never heats up again
Thank you!
Surely I'll drive for a while and flush empty again, then repeat after a while until only clean coolant flows.
What you suggest as a rad cleaner?
Ice...
