    Local Ride

I have been working with a breast cancer awareness Charity for a few years now. Our annual Charity Ride is 10/12/19. Yes, this is a predominantly a Harley event, but over the past few years, we have been seeing a large show of imports as well. Everyone is welcomed. Open to the public. Family...

    Ignition conversion

Sure it is not the carbs. Loose spark to the 2 rear cylinders and loose the tach when it happened. Has not happened again for a while now.Been going through the extra harness to get it ready. Came across 2 cut wires buried in the loom. Not sure if they are the clutch switch (blk/wh-bl/wh) or the...

    Ignition conversion

Thanks for the input. I removed the coils and installed COP's from Jon Harris when this all started. Had it happen twice in 1 day after cop's and ignition module install. Bought a used harness to rebuild. Just want to make sure there are no other mods to harness I should know about before I...

    Ignition conversion

Short history. 88, igeatech, cop's, drilled exhaust. Been battling an intermittent ignition drop on rear 2 cyl for some time now. Replace cdi with ignatech and have had it happen twice since. Purchased a used wiring harness last week to go through to install. Would there be any advantage to...

    going crazy

Vacuum sensor was upgraded (soldered and heat shrinked)with Seans Ignatek kit. Thinking of getting a set of pickups from Sean and finding another harness and just being done with it. Ign switch and start button were in good shape. Just tired of throwing money at it.

Pulling ign switch and start button to check and clean today...

    Ready to ride!

Hate to say that I am guilty of this. Even after I was creamed by a kid in a truck. I ride in shorts and sandals 90% of the time.. I will put on sneakers if I plan on going any distant though. Would pass out from heat exhaustion middle of ride in full riding gear down here.

What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

A PCW over Barnett? I have always used Barnett's steel and friction kits in the past. What is the difference. Is pressure plate mod to the 1st gen XVZ style worth it?

    Oil Change Help

The site glass should be clear. Shine a flashlight in it and make sure you can see the silver behind it. Real bad oil will be just black. If white (opaque), could be bad crystal or water intrusion.

    Just want to ride.

Managed to finally get back to working on bike. Tested the pick ups. As the book says, Check from orange wire to other wires. Lowest reading I get is 99 highest was 123. Seen several post about book being wrong and should check from black wire. On black, I only get 1 wire in range and other 3...
