Okay all you EFI guys.......was the conversion really worth it or not much difference than a carbs? I would like to make the conversion, however with that price tag, it's really gotta be worth it.

Looking for a backrest. I see some aftermarket stuff, but they all look flimsy. Can't find an OEM for sale with a reasonable pricetag. Any suggestions?

Well, I guess I shouldn't have posted the auction. There have been 3 new watchers and 1 new bid since I posted it......lol. Screwed myself.

There are some flat slide carbs on eBay if anyone is interested. They don’t come with a lot of hardware though. I emailed the company and they don’t offer just a hardware kit. So are flat slides worth the price tag??

Okay guys, I got the FP needles from Sean about two weeks ago but haven't had time to work on her yet. Changing out the jets and needles now. I'm going to start with the 157.5's, but might have to go bigger because the block is bored out to 1344cc's. We shall see.

Yea, I just did t realize I had them. Once we figured that out, things became more clear.

Update.....WELL, the needles that are in the carbs are the Canadian OEM needles with the 5 slots at the blunt end. NOT Stage 7 or Factory Pro!!! That explains why she is running so damn lean. So Sean is sending me some Factory Pro Needles (better on gas milage than S7). Meanwhile, I am going to...
