If you think you did a good job at cleaning the carbs and it's still running rough at idle / slow speed, I'd consider synching the carbs. Shotguned mine 3 or 4 times, still a low speed miss. Bought a CarbTune Pro 4, hooked it up, and the synch was so far off that one of the cylinders wouldn't...

Installed new clutch parts from Sean Morley. New OEM frictions, blasted steels, converted inner 1/2 friction to a full, Heavy-duty clutch spring, and new OEM gasket. Good news - now the clutch is not slipping when VBoost kicks in. Bad news - harder to hang on when VBoost kicks in !!!!

Early spring for us way down here, too. At noon, 85*, but the wind is blowing 30, gusts to about 40. Get to wear the sides of the tires a little with all the leaning!!!!!

Sounds fun. Rode the Sisters about 8 years ago with a Honda Shadow group. Will try to get there - IF I still have the Vmax then, and IF I'm not still planting on the farm that weekend. I'll check back, and keep you posted as time draws nearer. Thx!

Selling my 1997 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100, 57,138 miles. V-twin, water-cooled, shaft drive, 5-speed. Very nice bike. Everything works as it should, just needs a new garage to park in! Owned it the last 9 years, put on 22K-plus miles in that span. Recently bought a '98 Honda Magna to replace it...
