Thanks to everyone who did the work putting this ride together. I had lots of fun and learned more about my bike in two days, than in the three years that I've owned it. See you all next next year.
I agree with Itgoes. I hit 167 indicated on my speedo on one occasion. Since then, I installed a speedohealer and I believe the actual top speed is closer to 155. 4-2 exhaust, h-pipe, modified air box w/ k&n filter and Nash flash.
For sharing with your Harley friends. Noise and HP are not always related, as in the case of Harley Davidson. Hope this gives you a good laugh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBhz7X-S5Eo
You're welcome. That's the idea, I wanted to be different. I like riding, I like politics, and I love my country and I'm scared as to where we're going. I figured it was better than watching a couple of talking heads on TV talking about the same stuff.
I thought I'd start a video blog mixing fun and issues into one package. This one is about my thoughts on Bernie Sanders and his desire to ban fracking, should he become president. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/7u_nFisoHoE
I hear that, I get 25 mpg if I keep out of the throttle and less than 20mpg when I'm gettin on it, but like you said, way more fun. I guess if you want HP, you gotta burn some gas, right?
I think I can help you as I recently did new turn signals last month. I have mine set up for run/turn both front and rear and I there is dimming as you describe, quite the opposite. When they flash, it's on/off, on/off. I used a special module between the flasher unit and the signals. The...
I don't know if this could be modified to work with a VMAX or not, but the price is right. http://www.harborfreight.com/motorcycle-swingarm-rear-stand-65620.html
As much as I love riding this beast, I'm ready to get off after about an hour and a half for a little stretch. That's just about how much time I have before I need to hit the next gas station. I don't know about the rest of you, but I've never came close to getting 110 miles before the next...
I am using the same windshield that sal98 posted pictures of and I love it. It does a nice job of channeling the wind away from my torso and seems to just blend in with the rest of the bike.
I've been looking into some bar end mirrors as well as I hate the chrome stockers, it's like the only chrome on the entire bike and it doesn't match. I was looking at these because I thought the brushed aluminum and black went with the looks of the bike...
I wanted the UFO Radiance front signals, but I think I like this better. I got the idea from a member over at starvmax. I got the integrated tail late from a rider friend nearby.
