Had it happen on both covers. I was able to use a punch and hammer to remove the screw. Replaced with some hard stainless screws, will never have that problem again ha.

I use the center stand and then use a 2x4 or 4x4 board and a car floor jack and place it on the front of the oil pan.

Is this what you used to clean my carbs? Because mine looked new when I got them back! I use an ultrasonic cleaner for small metal parts, mainly gun parts. Work wonders. I only have a small 2L cleaner. so can't put a whole lot in there.

I've had modular helmets before, HJC and Bell. Sold them both because of the wind noise. I'm a huge fan of scorpion helmets and currently have the EXO-1100 and the 750, wife also has a 750. I'd probably try the scorpion modular if I was going to get another one.

This may sound stupid, but do you have extra keys or keychain on your key? You get a pretty loud rattle against the scoop from that. Scared me when I first drove my vmax until I found out what caused it haha.

Glad to hear that. I did bolt mine down, but probably going to unbolt the front at least.
