Can you either tell me what you have heard or point me in the direction of a thread. I have a Dyna 3000 (without dip switches) and am having ignition issues most likely attributed to moisture.
Thanks!
Not sure if you have resolved this, I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UX5WRBM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it works great, very bright! It is a little crowded in the bucket but it does fit.
I am not sure if I am measuring this properly. But with my multimeter set at 200 ohms it reads as follows:
Just contacting the two points on the COP alone
LR 1.6
LF 1.6
RR 1.7
RF 1.7
Contacting each end of the section of the harness w/ the resistor
LR 2.6
LF 2.5
RR 2.4
RF 2.4...
It is still doing it, 5 days later. Everything has been dried and I will work on checking for corrosion and anything else suspicious in the electrical system.
Thanks, I appreciate all of the willingness to help! I would love to get this sucker running correctly.
I will try to get the resistance info and jet sizes tomorrow.
To fill in some other info; after some fun troubleshooting and looking at larger issues, I discovered that the PO had the plugs for the rear cylinders hooked up backwards so it was only running on two cylinders. I switched them...
Thanks for a quick reply! There are resistors wired in, the denso numbers are 129700-4800 J0480. Would you think it could be an ignition problem? How reliable are the Dynas?
As for the jets, I recorded the numbers but forgot to label them for which jets in my notes (brilliant). With the bike...
