Got it started after a lot of turning motor over but it just pops back through carbs and dies eventually

Yep I removed all jets a checked to see they were clear

Thanks for all that info, after blowing All the jets out I finally got it started, I did have quite alot of blue smoke out of pipes so Iam wondering if the valve stem seals need doing and this it's what's causing my start issue if I got oil getting into pots 🙁

Yep fuel drains when I open float bowl drain screw, I have got the carbs off and check the jets

It won't idle

It did both before I parked it last year, it will only fire up when I tip fuel down carbs obviously only runs for a couple of seconds doing it that way

New filter, fuel delivery is good after the pump

Hi all, my max won't start, fuel pump is working and pumping fuel out when the pipe if off , fuel bowls are full, if I tip a little petrol in the top of carbs it will fire and run briefly.

My swingarm on my 86 model is chrome and looks a bit odd, are they not usually silver or black same as the frame colour?

Hi all, I took the LH Air scoop of today hoping to find a disused round plug so I could fit a vboost system but it's not there, would it be better and easier to fit a dynojet 7 kit? I believe these come with hollow tubes to replace the solid blocks where the vboost butterflies would be? Fitting...

Hi All, I have a 1986 french 2EN restricted max and would like to put the vboost on it,not in a hurry as i can get all the bits and fit during the winter but just wondered what items i need to do it. Love the bike althogh its restricted it still pulls well . scotty
