    Handle Bar Risers?

I could use my handle bars being 1 to 2" closer to me. Are there any handle bar risers available for the MAX? Thanks.

    Fender Extender Source

It mounts to the mini part of the fender with two screws. The commet above making one reminded me of making one out of part of a black plastic flower pot like you get plants in from a plant nursery. Its already shaped like the curve in the fender. Took a couple of trys but worked OK. Good Luck....

    Fender Extender Source

This is my 4th Vmax and I've had a Exactrep fender extender on the last three. I've looked many other places, USA and out, with no success. These fit well and provide the function you require. They are not painted and the last one I bought (Jan '09) needed a lot of sanding and prep work...

    Sneezing & Coughing & Blueing??

Hey, All. I got my CarbTune Pro and had a nice day so I sync'd the carbs: cyl 1 was well above cyl 2 (like 1/2 of 2 higher) cyls 3 & 4 were well below cyl 2 (like 1/2 of 2 lower) I adjusted 1, 3, & 4 all to 2 and it really smoothed out. Yeah!! Do you think the throttle settings of 3...

How is this tool for syncing carbs?

Has anyone used this tool for syncing VMAX carbs and, if so, how effective is it? Thanks. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2008076/c-10101/Nty-1/p-2008076/Ntx-mode+matchallpartial/N-10101/tf-Browse/s-10101/Ntk-AllTextSearchGroup?Ntt=carb+sync+tool#CommunityTabs

    Sneezing & Coughing & Blueing??

Re: Sneezing & Coughing & Bluing?? I ordered a Carbtune and will sync the carbs. I also like the 1) Lankee's laser temperature gun on the headers to detect any overheating and 2) the using the exhaust sniffers that Yamaha dealers have and set to optimum performance settings instead of EPA...

    Sneezing & Coughing & Blueing??

Could there simply be a problem with the exhaust pipe? Anyone ever had experience with a stock exhaust bluing? I've had straight pipes on other bikes bluing...

    Sneezing & Coughing & Blueing??

I pulled the spark plugs. They are all the same; gray with no carbon build-up.

    Sneezing & Coughing & Blueing??

I drilled and removed the factory brass plugs covering the fuel mixture screws. Exactly what these screws are called (pilot, fuel/idle mixture, etc.) is a little confusing.

    Sneezing & Coughing & Blueing??

I recently purchased an '04 VMAX with 1,000 miles on it. It has two minor (I hope) issues; 1) sneezing at idle and low speed, and, 2) the right front exhause pipe is blued for about a foot from the engine. I removed the brass plugs and found the following settings: Cyl 2 Originally set @ 3...
