Thanks for the info, Kyle! It kinda threw me when he stated that it was bored to 1360. I've read about the 1300 Venture swapout, 1428, 1500, and 1570 big-bore builds. But I've never heard of a 1360. Not that they don't exist, I just ain't read anything about one - and I'm definitely no expert on...

Man as awesome as that ride would be, I'm a de facto single dad till my wife gets home from an internship in Alaska. So unfortunately I'd need a trailer. UNLESS!!! I may be able to sweet talk one of my coworkers to tag along.... ;)

Out of the wild blue yonder with this one... what's NC's trailer laws like? I live in Gatlinburg TN, and we're about as lax as it gets on trailers - no tag needed, don't even think you need lights on short ones. :P

Zup errbody? So like, it sucks that nobody makes 15" radials. But I'm wondering if any Yamaha shaft-drive wheels would interchange with the Vmax? Found that the XS Eleven came with a 17" rear/19" front, and the Special had a 16" rear. And I kinda like the seven-spoke ones... sorta...

I'm thinking if I do it, it'll be on another set of OEMs. Do that, pods, and jets, but keep everything to put it back to original. And maybe a 16/40 sprocket combo if the power is there.

I have an 82 Suzuki GS300. I look like a circus bear on the friggin thing. Just more motivation to hunt down a Vmax, I tell myself. Seriously though, it's my wife's - she found one she wanted and jumped on it. It's nice for what it is, but she wants it a bit louder. Not straight pipes loud...

Hi yall. Is anyone running a 21" front setup on their bike? I see a lot of 17" and 18" conversions on here, but the asthetics in my opinion are a little bit off. Not knocking the swap, especially from a safety standpoint... just wondering if anyone's done a swap on the front like that to restore...
