I tried to see if the rubber tip needle from the other carb fit in the venture carb and it did but it was tight but it did fit. I'll get a couple from you later today.

It appears that the seat is completely different. What's my options? Can I replace the complete seat in order to restore to a vmax setup verses as you noted venture?

I recently came across a set of carbs where 2 have the float needle with rubber tip and clip and 2 carbs that have a no rubber float needle and no needle clip. Are there two different options for float needles and are they interchangeable? I notice the ones without the clip and the float set...

If you can get a 1/8 hole drilled, the torx 15 screw driver worked great this time. What is the secret, small impact screw driver with a long flat head bit, the impact breaks the screw loose quickly, I did the other 3 that way but this one bugger had a stripped head, wasn't many options at that...

Removed it....1/4 inch drill to shave the top, 1/8 inch drill on center of top of jet enough to place a No:15 torx screw driver in and twisted it out.....the top of the threaded portion did snap off from the needle but a 1/4 hose placed down the recess and a little suction lifted the needle...

Can someone direct me to options to remove a stripped air mixture screw? I was given a set of carbs and I'm unable to remove one of the air mixture screws. Someone prior really smoothed the head, nothing there to bite into. Thanks. Tom

I didn't see the comment about starting without choke... she needs choke when starting cold otherwise coughing. Idles returns perfectly, once warm, instant throttle responce. Pulls continually in all ranges and throttle position. I'm very pleased

Just changed oil and filter, another test ride and perfect. Very pleased back to crazy fast with zero issues. Thank you for all the help. Tom

3.25 or pretty close on all 4 carbs. I turned all mixture screws in to bottom and turned out until I had slight stumble and then back in and then back out to what I thought was the best my hearing heard. I counted a marked screw driver and they all ended pretty close to 3.25 turns out, that's...
