Heretic I just replaced my springs,seals,and oil (2003 model). The lit I had on this was 451ml of oil which is just shy of 16oz in each fork. My question is did I not put enough oil in mine? Appreciate any info . Thanks Tuner

just got the new progressive springs and I'm ready to start this project. However local shop doesnt carry silkolene fork oil but they do have Amsoil synethic fork oil.Naturaly they say Amsoil is better but I'd like to hear you guys opinion.I know I've been well pleased with Amsoil synthetic...

mine has always had the decel wobble so I finally tried the easy fix described here.Just loosened the top nut then slowly adjusted the 2 spanner nuts. All i can say WOW Totally different bike. Its a great tip . Thanks to all tuner

Thanks for all the response guy but I gotta add this. Mine is stock other than a K&N & a set of Supertrapps with 8 discs on each side. At 145 it still pulls like its being dragged by a fighter jet and my buddy who rides a busa confirmed the speed against his.Maybe the busa speedo is off too...

I guess this has been asked before,but what is the top speed for a stock VMAX? I;ved never held mine long enough to find out but I can say she'll do 145 and still be pulling hard! Several places on the net give HP ratings and quarter mile times but no top speed. Just curious if anyone knows...
