Yeah, I figured I would drill a hole and use a screw extractor. I read a few of the threads about it. I'm spraying it with more pb and I'm going to try again in the morning. Not trying to mess it up more but I'm a bit stubborn. Gaskets are on order, these carbs are getting torn down this...

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah I ordered a pretty basic set up the other day. From the sounds of it, this is something I am going to have to do pretty regular. I figured that I may as well invest.

So the pea shooter was no luck. I'm not even going to bother with the shot gun. I'm just going to tear these puppies apart. The #2 carbs A/F screw is corroded in. No luck with pb blaster.

I am not sure who makes it. The previous owner put it on. Its carbon fiber but he painted it with some rattle can (bass boat) sparkly paint. It has started to chip off so I removed it to try and crack it all off. Yeah, I am happy to be a part of this group. I am looking forward to this...

I work at Autozone, we def carry seafoam. Right now it is on sale for $3 off. Haha, I'm anxious to get it right. This is a way different ride than my r6.

Thanks guys. It has progressive shocks, carbon fiber windscreen (I removed it though), and a lower seat. I wish the previous owner would have addressed the exhaust first. These trumpets on the side are huge! Not to mention that they rob these bikes of their unique b4 sound. I will definitely...

I have a service manual, being an old machinist mate in the Navy, I have experience with these types of schematics. Plus, there are tons of articles on the forum.

Sounds about right, after 3 years I still see stuff on the challenger forum and the r6 forum that hits my wallet.

Yeah, the college kids just hit for their first week. I live right off the beach (about a half mile walk) hear them constantly. I don't mind it so much because they do spend that $$$ while they are here. I just wish they had an off switch. Although I am sure people have said that about me. The...
