My bike seems to run hot in stop and go traffic. Checked the coolant level,it was low. Added coolant, still seems to run on the hot side in stop and go traffic. Noticed my bike running hot today. Put on the fan and it cooled down nicely. When I got home I check the coolant level it was low. I dont know what coolant was in the bike as I bought it in Oct. Can I add any coolant or should I drain the system and refill it . Also whats the best coolant to use...

Thanks for the info. Think I'll research a bit more. I got rave reviews on the Shinko from an old friend who rides very hard out in California. He told me him and all the guys he rides with love them. Thing is he doesn't ride a Vmax.
