this is the newest member to my toys but the guy had no clue what he had. the bike runs rough...period. I keep reading that it needs to be jetted with the Cobra pipes. I know a little loss of power but its a Vmax and im 52, I dont care. Thoughts?

I cant find the Cobra Jet Kit 92-2168 anywhere. Also, my bike has a switch to keep Vboost open. Thoughts?

Yeah injust emailed Sean. I love the hole shots on my red bike but I might wanna try something else. See I don’t know if they rejetted these carbs or they are stock. I would assume they are stock due to the Cobra issue. Can’t know unless I take the carbs out

So what do I wanna put on this beast then. Get the hole shots?

So let’s say I wanna keep the Cobras. What’s my next step? And if I am going to change the exhaust, is Holeshot the way to go? I don’t wanna spend a grand. And I can’t tell you how pissed I would be if I did and had the same issue. Not at you of course cause you’re not the only one...

See that’s the problem. I don’t know who owned it before the last guy and he sold it because it scared him after a week. I have no clue what the original owner did. I just know he took really good care of it and you know what a pain in the ass it is to take the carbs off

you sound like you are 100 percent sure...is there a way to test your theory short of me buying something else. these Cobras look brand new and a new set aint cheap
