So when I bought this bike it came with a Saddlemen bag….sits on the rack attached to backrest but here’s what’s weird to me. It has an aluminum piece that sits in the bag and has 2 bolts that run thru it, the back of the bag and screws into the top mount holes for the pad…in fact the aluminum...

I have an ‘06 Max black with the red flames on the cover….I really like the striped versions of the cover on certain models. Don’t want to repaint mine because I hear they’re worth some bucks SO will any Gen 1 cover fit? If yes I’ll just pick up a used cover and repaint it.

Anyone know if I can drill into the speedometer housing to mount the bracket with a very short screw without jacking things up inside? I’d be drilling just behind the chrome bezel where the cup starts.

Just installed a H4 Led bulb in the stock plastic bucket on my Vmax. That bucket is really shallow….anyone know of any heat issues from that bulb creating problems with the other wiring in there?

I’m a gauge guy but know full well too many gauges and it’s just more to keep an eye on when riding. Also aware that mostly it’s about volume and not pressure with most scooters. Is there any point to putting one on our Max’s other than personal preference?
