Also wanted to bump this. I bought a set of the tourmasters but cannot for the life of me figure where/how to use the clip straps on them. Also, I have the stock sissy bar on the back, and with my Corbin seat, the bags sit pretty far forward, almost covering the gas cap top.

I guess my question would be, would it get gunked up after having no issues just 2 weeks prior? There was constantly fluid in it, then closed off. I'm tired of dealing with it and would rather replace it, know that it's ready to roll and be able to try to squeeze a few more weeks out of it.

Looks like a small aftermarket switch, on the left side, just above the left scoop. I haven't messed with it because I have no idea what it is for. I've looked on here to see if on any other bikes, and didn't see any. Any ideas what it could be?

Agreed. You know a design (and engine, for that matter) is the shit when it stays relatively the same for 20+ years! I can't even imagine back in the day when these bikes had more power than even the largest sportbikes.
