Need help on cleaning idle jets

Hoping some of you guy,s can tell me how to remove carbs as I need to un block idle jets. Bike running fine untill warmed up then keeps cutting out when I slow down I think my jets are blocked after sitting up over winter period. Any help would be really great.

Have you tried to perform the "shotgun" first? It may be all that's required.

If you need to open the carbs up for mechanical cleaning, all the guidance you need is in the "stickies" in the carb section.

Drain the carbs

Set your floats while they are apart

Seems like a lot but if you read through, its all pretty basic stuff. About the only special tools required are a synch gauge and a caliper for setting the floats.
 
I had to do a spring shotgun last year. Even had to shotgun it after a month out of service. Its been better since I put a couple capfuls of Seafoam in every tank or two and avoid ethanol. This year I drug her out into the sun and she barked right to life.

If you DO have to pull the carbs its not to hard. It took me 15 minutes the 2nd time I did it. It gives you a chance to see what jets are installed and adjust floats. Both my V4s were set up to rich. I hope you find the issue, the above stickies are really a great resource.
