I have a couple questions regarding aftermarket master cylinder set....

1-Have any one tried to replace their OEM master cylinder clutch/brake buy one of these ones from ebay and as it worth it?

2-What is the size of the brake piston on OEM? The ones on ebay are 12,7 mm

3- Is there a cheap, good looking set out there i've missed?

Stock is 5/8" on both.

I wouldn't go less than 14mm on either. The front brake might feel just a touch spongy with that. The clutch will have a lighter pull and the engagement point will be close to the handle bars.

I've never tried no name masters

12.7 mm = 1/2"

You should stay as close as possible to the stock bore size w/stock calipers, otherwise you will be unhappy w/how the brakes 'feel' when actuated. There are many posts about bore sizing for different brake systems. Use the search function. You will be pushing less fluid when you decrease the bore size, negatively affecting how soon the pistons move. Is it 'reassuring' to have the lever come back closer to the handlebar before the brakes 'bite?'

No, I don't think so either.

IMHO you get what you get for and as you won't be paying a lot......

Look forward to hearing how they perform and their durability.

Neither.

Your brakes will be very touchy with either of these.
You clutch lever will feel like you installed a DD with none of the holding benefits.

I'm not a big fan of generic parts but, if you are OK with using them, at least find something with a bore of 14, 15, or 16mm. That is a decent working range. Outside of this and its not going to feel right.

the problem is that the master cylinder of brake was broken and was welded, but has many leaks. I live in Colombia and it is not possible to get second-hand parts. anyone can recommend me something?.

Thanks
