My buddy has a Kawasaki Concour with Power Commander installed, and a K&N air filter. I ran him from a 5 MPH roll. I jumped him 1 bike length in 1st gear, 1/4 bike length in 2nd, and we were dead even in 3rd gear. When I shifted to 4th, he passed me (we were running 115 MPH at this time).
My V-Max has 33,000 miles on it, has a stage 2 dyna-jet kit installed with K&N air filter and Kerker slip ons. I'm proud of my ol' gal for putting down this Concour.
From 70 MPH high gear roll on, my Max walks away from him easily!
Both riders weigh about 200 lbs.
