Noobie question here. My speedo just quit working. Is there a weak link in these speedos or where should I start? Its an 05.

Make shure the drive cable hasn't come loose at the wheel.
Would try looking at the speedo gears in the front wheel or unscrew the cable housing and pull the cable out and see if it is broken. :ummm:

Ok, Where it threads into the front wheel? Is that where the gear is? I just had the front tires mounted so I'm betting it has something to do with that

I just had my speedo cable off today. When I put it back together I had to turn the cable a little to get it to slide in correctly all the way. Check that on yours.

Ok. Thanks. Never had to check before so Ill look into it.
If you put it on the centre stand, and jack the front wheel off the ground, you can check if the cable is turning.
You undo the screw connector at the speedo end and spin the wheel. If the cable isn't turning you either have
i) broken cable
ii) broken gear in the drive
iii) something not aligned.
