"The Greatest" has died. From the Olympics, to his heavyweight bouts and titles, to his stand on conscription, he fought his fight, every step of the way. Whether you agree with him or not, he was one of the most recognizable people in the world, and his accomplishments are part of history.

Ali had a compound in Berrien Springs in SW Michigan where he would train.

A good article about Ali's fight doctor during his career, going back to when he was Cassius Clay, before he was the pro champ:

Ferdie Pacheco, “The Fight Doctor,” famously once said, “Cassius Clay was born in Louisville. Muhammad Ali was born in Miami.”

Nothing to do w/Ali, but a good story about a 6' 4" bully attacking a 71 yr old man 6" shorter, and getting badly beaten:

Just read this on a local news site, sad indeed, he was my favorite!............Not only was he skilled and sharp, he was also a great entertainer both in and out of the ring.............................Tom.
