Hi All,
i just realized that the PO has removed the kick stand kill switch. The bike is able to be put in gear even when the side kick stand is down.
I just bought a used switch from eBay and wondering where is the plug that I should plug the new switch into?
Can somebody please show me a picture on where this plug should be?

Sean is referring to the body tin bearing the VMax logo on the left side of the bike. I believe it has two leads, you can swap-in any two or more lead plug, you will just need to replace both male and female sides. Looking-at the manual shows two wires, blue/yellow, and a black one. (if your switch still has it's plug and the other end it mates-to is still on the harness, it should be plug & play. My plug comment was if someone snipped off one or the other.)

Ride safely, our far-away friend.

Thanks guys, I will have a look at it once I receive my new switch. I just checked and the wire on the current switch is cut at the switch.

So if you have a switch & plug, you should be good to plug & play. If not, solder the splice & use heat-shrink tubing.

My wiring under the left side cover is a mess. Looks like the PO modified the wiring beyond recognition as he put in a updated rectifier. Which wire should I tap to for the switch now? :bang head:

Help... can't find the wires to plug it into... :( Worse case, i cannot use it...

Take your airbox cover off (the fake gas tank), and look for the diode block (#32 in the parts diagram) Follow the blue/yellow wire back from the block connector, until you find a splice with another blue/yellow attached. This will be the original wire that the positive side(blue/yellow) of the sidestand connector was attached to. The other side (black wire) can be attached to any convenient frame grounding point. Hope this helps.
Cheers!

Look here for the wire harness area it is from. See the tag?
