Anyone have any tips on getting the left side flywheel cover off of my '91? I've removed all eleven bolts but no luck so far. I'm trying to replace the starter clutch using the instructions found here.

Did you take the middle drive cover off to.

There are magnets and it takes a hard pull.

Use a rubber mallet or a plastic head one, rap-around the perimeter, and you should get it to part. Be very careful prying, you don't want to deform a mating surface or crack a casting.

Is it the seal won't release? Or is it hard to pull off? Like stated, the flywheel has strong magnets
making removal slightly more difficult than it appears.

When you remove it most likely the starter gears will fall off. Make sure you put them back together as specified as there is one that only goes one way
