Hi everyone! Im new to the fourm, I just bought my first vmax, it is a 1985, that has had alot of work done to her, but my question is does anyone else drag thier kickstand when turning left? And any I deas how to fix it?

If it's not hanging down then you're just riding it aggressively and it will rub on the ground. Usually that's more common with lowered bikes so it may have had that done and you may need to raise it back up some.

It has the r1 fork conversion, Idk if that makes a difference, also the kickstand is "loose" when its up it can move like 1.5 inches.... Is there a way to relocate the kickstand, or get a,differnt spring
I can weld really well so if it is acceptable to move the kickstand I could definitely do it

You may just need to alter the spring to get it to hold tighter. They may have altered the stand incorrectly as it normally holds tight under tension.

I tried to alter my spring and without heating and bending I just unhooked it from the hole and I believe onto the half moon part of that same piece and worked fine.
