A guy lives near me that fabricates a billet adapter and crossbar replacement set, so a spin-on Fram PH6017A oil filter can be used. The custom parts set is $105, plus $20 shipping via eBay. It works great and looks great too. I just installed one this week, plus the Fram spin-on and Castrol 10W-40 4T 4-Stroke motorcycle oil ($5.99 per qt). I replaced the aftermarket air horn (last owner installed) with a standard round horn at the same time I replaced the crossbar.

Have anyone experience to use this type oil filter? :ummm:

Will this give a better oil pressure to the engine and re-usable? (like a K&N filter) :clapping:
I know the price is hefty $109 but if the filter can be re-usable by cleaning. :thumbs up:

I have one on my Gen 1. Ive put 20000 miles on it with no issues. I like being able to take it apart and see if there is metal inside the filter. I dont know if it gives better pressure, I dont have a pressure gauge on the bike.
