After replacing the rear valve cover gasket and adding COPs ignition, I headed for Texas to visit an Air Force Base I was assigned to for school (Sheppard AFB) 30 years ago this year.

Mr. Max ran good all the way. No leaks. Even messed with a Hellcat Challenger a little. We both exited, and I met him at a red light. I was really excited, but he didn't want to play. What a let-down. LOL.

Rode for about 6 hours today, 75-80 MPH most of the way.
Checked MPG - 37. Not bad.

Very nice day for riding!
The only bad thing was the light jacket I wore whipped my arms all day.

I get about the same milage. Glad you got a good ride in!

Notice any difference in the way it runs with cops? I want a set so damn bad.

A more responsive start and rev, in my opinion. I've owned 4 V-Max's in my life, and the last two had badly cracked stock coils. Seems consistent with others' comments.

Glad you had a goo/safe ride.
The hellcat didn't want to play because he knew what the outcome would be.
