Outstanding :eusa_dance: I had seen runs from this bike on Youtube which I think have been removed from the PO?
Looks and sounds sharp. About the only thing I don't like is the headlight, it looks too big. BUT it's your bike made for you... so do whatever you like:clapping:
You won't ever need Viagra, just start the bike up, that'll do the job.

Yes the headlight is always a subject for debate, you either love it or hate it. In my area IL NY it can be a real issue with the drivers not seeing you, so this headlight is real bright! Even in the day time it is blinding. And at night on the unlit dark roads around my house it makes night into daylight. I have a smaller one in the garage, but it is not painted.

Love the bike:punk:, but whats up with the throttle rocker on a drag bike?

Drag bike? I am going for a ride in an hour or so, probably put 100-150 miles on it today. So on some of the longer runs it helps keep my hand from going numb.

As far as being a Drag Bike, I hope to find some of the local Gen 2 riders today and show them my tail lights.

Gen 1 still rule!!

Really love it. Painting is pretty nice.
But please change the grips and the headlight. It's ruining everything.
You can find very good alternative on ebay for the grips like some rizoma replica (cheap) and a nice clear headlight with black housing will do better. I find the existing one little bit too much forward.

But I know just details compared what has been done.

Congrat for the new baby :)

You don't like my V-MAX grips? They are a little cheesy, how knows they might get swapped out over the winter. I might even have a couple of different ones in the garage.

My beloved headlight always gets a reachtion...some good and some bad. Yes it does sit to far forward, that I would agree with you.

Here's a seat I build for him awhile back. He sold it and went back to the Corbin. I think it needs a better seat again! The other pic was when I saw it in 2002.

Sean

Sean The first picture is from Buloews camp ground in Daytona. Thats the first time I think we all meet? From my memory that was on of the most out of control bike week I have ever attended!

The bike back then did not have the blower, but was still fast a hell. We went on a group ride with Eric H. that year with about 50 of us, and during one of the runs I was cruising along at 125 and Pauly pulled up next to me, nodded and pull away like I was standing still!

As far a seats go I have two others in the garage, but when your an XL guy the Corbin is the most comfortable.

Yea, That bike week was INSANELY fun!!! It was also our first trip to bike week. Was great getting to meet everyone for a change. The ride was pretty good but not really the intent of a "VMOA" group ride. Of course Eric and I had a few disagreements that week which culminated in the last night at Bulows.

I broke a lot of stuff that week. Driveshaft right off the trailer, 5 tires, and a rear intake cam. Replaced a clutch for another kansas couple, and Paul blew that engine up about mid week. It was a great running 1500 (I ended up with the heads and cams).

love the bike man, didn't realize it was the same bike i saw in the other youtube video a while back.paint is sick on that thing also:punk:the only thing i would change is of course the headlight but thats just me and i understand the visibility issues out there so safety first.be safe out there today, might get mine out if we get my daughters school project done(being 40 with homework to do bites)later

I am completly astounded!! the time, energy, & paitence that must have been put into this must be insane! I would drive accross country and PAY just to see this beast in real life. It looks like the max version of Mr. Hyde.

Shorthair,
P.S.
I hate you.

I had the bike out today, put 150 or so miles on it. It is completely out of control! Starts on the first try every time, runs nice an cool, sometimes to cool. I Had to turn off the radiator fan on some long stretches so the bike would warm up to temperature. In stop an go traffic the fan kicks on and the needle never went past 1/2 way.

The acceleration is unbelievable, roll on the throttle and it pulls away with no issue nice an smooth until the boost comes on. Crack the throttle and it is scary, pulls the front wheel with no effort.

The handling is light and steady, lean it into a turn no wobble no surprises nice and smooth.

The bike is now in the garage, covered for the winter. To bad I didn't get this thing up and running earlier in the season. I would have like to get some Dyno #'s on it. I guess I will have to wait until spring.

I can't imagine how much FUN it has to be to rip on that thing! Congrats on the build. I'm sure this winter will be the longest one you've EVER had to live through, LOL.

VERY nice bike!!! If I had the money saved, I would buy it in a heartbeat. The paint is probably a 12 in a scale of 1 to 10. Ha ha.

That headlight has GOT to go. Anything would be better.

Your just jealous that yours isn't as big as mine:nyah nyah:

I think you might actually get more speed without that sail in the air. :huh00000:

More speed huh  ya thats the ticket I need more speed.

Dude I haven't been able to hold the throttle wide open yet, more speed is the last thing I need with this bike.

You guys dont like my headlight...well then buy the bike and change it.:confused2:
