Pretty common up in my parts - there's also snowmobile grass drags - fastest 1/4 mile sled in my area (asphalt) is a Polaris 800 storm - about 148 mph

They race sleds at the strips all the time here.I have seen several go 140mph.

Their burnouts are cool as hell!
