Checked fuses, all good, even swapped swapped fuses.
Checked for any voltage coming from the headlight plug; nothing.
Ideas?

Is the starter button pulled out? When the start button is engaged, power to the headlight is turned off, so that way full voltage goe to the starter. Sometimes the button will hang up and be engaged just enough so that no power is going to the headlight.

+1 on the starter button check first. If it's positioned normal we'll take it from there.
Good to see an actual vmax question on the forum.

We have winners...it is indeed the starter button.
Solution, just spray some WD40 in the grove or do I need to take it apart?

The WD40 did work in my case, but I'd pull the switch apart and recondition it to be sure it doesnt happen again..

Yeah, 'ninjaneer' hasn't been on much lately, but he's a good guy and very knowledgeable about the electrical issues. You can guess his profession...

Yes, recondition the switch, peace of mind, and no surprises down the road.
