Another mass shooting in a elementry school in coneticut its all over the news 27 people killed 18 children. Saying 2 gun men 1 dead 1 in custody. Its a fkn shame people arent safe anywhere these days. What the F**K is wrong with people today??? This makes my blood boil!!!!!!!!!!!
 
It's not about guns. Guns don't shoot people by themselves. It's about people who think they have to kill other people, They could do it with rocks or baseball bats as well. The media and liberals always try to make it all about guns.

I use to think about killing some guys everyday...some people whish to kill somebody everyday...they just dont have right tools...the guns. For some killing with a rock is not possible so they are braver with a gun...I can point my reasons forever...
 
Do you ,any of you think these sensless killings would happen if the teachers were armed,Wake up people,did these kinda of things hoppen a hundred years ago when everyone carried a gun?

Yes even more but there were no medias to put a light on a case.
 
No medias and the way our country is setup we are like 50 other countries in one. So, we have news that impacts us on what seems like a more regular basis.


Yes, arm them all.
 
Update.. The gunman Ryan Lanza 24 yrs old of ct shot & killed his mother who was the kindergarden teacher & killed all of her children in her class also killed another family member in NJ but there not saying who it is. The second person in custody is Ryans brother but there not saying if he was involved in the shooting yet or why he was at the school at the time of shooting. Damn
 
This makes no sense to me. Pretty soon they will have police officers at every school. People always blame this on guns. But everyone of these assholes have guns illegally. It's never their own guns that they use. I'm just numb. I have 2 kids that attend school and you think they are safe when they leave the house and go to school. But truth is they are never safe in the society now a days!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, but that's baloney. Teachers would be able to protect their students. And please document just one case of this happening 50 years ago. It DIDN'T happen, because people knew if they tried it, they would be among the first to go down.

pretty sad . those poor lil kids omg!! makes me sick.

gun control is not the answer....it will only create more crime and violence.
 
I don't necessarily think arming the teachers is such a good idea. They are teachers not law enforcement, however I think shools should be locked down have some type of security cameras aroudn the buidling and armed guards inside the building to prevent such tragedies. You shouldn't be just allowed to walk into any school someone should be buzzing you in and escorting you to a common area. Yes it will cost money but there's ways it can be paid for. If you ask me the cost is worth it if it saves lives.

Oh and having more gun laws does absolutely nothing to prevent this type of tragedy. This is a much, much, much bigger problem and having more gun control will do absolutely nothing to solve this problem. We've had the handgun ban in Chicago for how long now and yet somehow all the gangbangers seem to carry and murder rate is up. It's time to try something different instead of doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

I wonder how much longer people are going to put up with this kind of shit before taking matters into their own hands.
 
I believe gun control will only keep guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens. Criminals care less about gun control laws as they have no intention of obeying them. In fact, they probably approve of them as it makes their job safer... Don't have to worry about armed victims...

This country will have firearms regardless of regulation. It's far too large to prevent gun traffic, just look at our prohibition laws, the effects of the war on drugs, etc.

What is needed to change this is a cultural shift and education about firearms. It takes time but it can happen and it can be fairly effective. Look at the difference in the average person's reaction to drunk driving in the 50's compared to today. Like it or not guns are here to stay, and in my opinion the most effective way to stop this story from continuing to pop up is public education on safety and responsibility of firearm ownership.

That's not about to happen though, the gun advocates that get press time come off as nutty and reckless, the gun law advocates will push for bans and other things that will just never get serious traction. Then somewhere in the middle we waste hours of airtime debating if video games or music is to blame for this.

It will continue making headlines until all sides calm down a bit and look to rational answers and awareness campaigns.
 
I cannot understand how anyone could kill children. I have my own ideas of how to punish these type of criminals. None are fast or painless....

Teachers would abuse the right to use guns - they are not trained to do so.
Imagine giving a glock to 50yo the lady who never carried even a start pistol.

Firstable USA population was x times smaller then today and less civilized, and less everything like video games, porn and drugs so pls do not compare...Im sure I can find at least dozen of school shooting cases from 60's but I do not intend to.

BTW guns in Swiss are ALLOWED...but guess what...nobody here heard of any civil shooting form centuries...

Well you could train them, but a lot of gun advocates think teachers make too much as it is.

I'm not really sure what you're trying to say here.

You said shooting incidents don't happen in or around Switzerland. They do but going ahead with that logic.

Do the Swiss just not listen to music, play video games, watch porn, or do drugs? Is there not a minority population there? What does any of this have to do with school shootings?
