Drill one hole for the wire to go thru and one wire for ground to the bolt and the other bolt holes line up and then tie ground wire into your bike ground wire and the wire from the light to you yellow factory brake wire and your done.. 30 minutes and $9 = added safety ... I Hope:eusa_dance:

I've been using those since the late 90's on my two Maxes. Used as a running light on one and a brake light on the other. Did have the standard bulbs instead of led's though. Same unit, just different bulbs. Fits like it was made for the Max. Easy install.
