I'm going to start posting here on the progress of making a drag data logger, based off the Ardurio 101.

Features:
  • Bluetooth
  • Android compatibility
  • Accelerometer
  • GPS w/real time
  • RPM
  • Wheel speed
  • Voltage
  • Fuel pressure
  • Oil pressure/temp
  • Touch screen

Possible future updates:
  • Throttle position
  • Gear indicator
  • Water Temperature

I have now the main board that has the Accelerometer and Bluetooth built in, the touch screen, data logger, and Monday the hall effect sensor will be delivered. The rest of the sensors I'll wire in myself when I decide on what I'm going to use.

My goal is to have the basic setup complete for under $200. I'm going to post on how it's going together, parts list w/pricing, and the programming for downloading. It's mainly going to be designed around my dragbike, but it should be easily configured for other bikes.

Looks like an excellent project! :punk: Did you consider the Raspberry Pi as the base unit instead of building your own?
