Forum seems kinda slow, so I figured I'd try to generate some traffic. Here are my other rides...

Yeah, forum tends to slow down a bit in the "off" season.

I'll limit mine to what I currently have, otherwise I'd probably crash Buster's servers with pictures. Last two are from hillclimb races with my Yamaha sled.

Left to right...
Briggs 1450 powered minibike w/ Comet torq-a-verter. It'll wheelie over backward if you're not careful and it's top speed is limited by the motor's RPM. They say the stock rod lets go around 5000rpm, I set the governor to 4600, which is around 50-52mph. My tiny-tach says it's got like 20 hours on it now, 90% of that is wide open at full tilt. Motor is fine, but the stator shit the bed, the air filter cover rattled loose and let itself off somewhere on the road, the recoil sticks a lot, and the fan cowl constantly comes loose despite loc-titing the bolts. It also incessantly leaks oil from the pto side cover despite repeated attempts with gaskets, RTV, ect, so I just lay it on it's right side instead, which solves the problem. If it sits for a long time, it'll fog the place out with smoke when you first start it, like a Bimmer "flying brick". Which is odd, since the cylinder is angled up.

1985 Honda FL350R aka Odyssey
These are exceedingly rare, only made for 1 model year. Sales flopped since they were quite expensive at the time(heard something like $4000 in 1985). They're an absolute blast to drive, the 350 2 stroke smokesmy buddy's RZR 800 (surprise...a Honda 350 toasts a Polaris 800), both in speed and corners. I got mine for $1200, with a solid motor, drivetrain, and frame, but needing the carb jetted, the seat replaced, and the brakes fixed. If you ever spot one of these for sale, buy it.

2005 Arctic Cat Sabercat 500LX
Bought it this summer for a steal, roughly half book value. A 500 is all you really need on snow anyway unless you just want to fly down lakes. I had my 1000cc Yamaha Warrior for a few years which was stupid fast but terrible for handling, deep snow, jumping, everything else.

1977 Polaris Colt 250 S/S
Got this in trade for an old FL250's frame and blown up motor. It runs, but trying to track down a few missing bits to complete it. Rare twin-cylinder edition, most were singles. So simple, so easy to work on.

2004 Honda Aquatrax F-12X Turbo
Don't have a picture handy, but it's a 1200 I4 turbo in a tiny "2 seat" hull. Compared to my old SeaDoo it's like going from a scooter to a Vmax. The turbo is amazingly fun, you can actually feel/hear it spool up and you get this blast of acceleration. Plus the hull jumps/lands like a champ, the handling is telepathic, and it's got this "trim down" lever opposite the throttle to carve turns insanely tight without breaking the pump loose and doing a "donut".

2004 Bayliner 175
Parent's boat, I'm the chauffeur since neither of them know/care how to drive it. 3.0 Mercruiser, standard runabout fare. Since it's only a 17' it's actually not hugely underpowered, will top 50(which for a 3 liter is pretty good). This is THE, bar none, best value in the boating world. Other boats cost twice as much and the only difference is fancier upholstery, a stereo that'll die in a year, and extra trim and plasticky shit to break off. You can get one for like $10k brand new OTD with a trailer. Ours has been bulletproof for the 7 years we've had it now. Not a single thing gone wrong with the drive or boat.

Previous stuff off the top of my head
'88 Suzuki LT230 quadrunner
'90 Yamaha Blaster
'93 Suzuki LT2504WD (cool old style pure mechanical 4x4 quad...15 gears, on demand lockers, and traveled at the speed of smell)
'83 Honda LT250 Odyssey. Traded for the polaris because a) the motor blew up and I didn't feel like fixing it and b) I value my spine
'82 Suzuki GS450A "suzukimatic". Learner bike. 2-speed auto-clutch. Made road test a breeze, couldn't stall it. :p My GS450 had been crashed, according to the seller, because the old guy who owned it had a heart attack while riding and put it in the ditch. One downtube was tweaked and the oil pan was crunched, so some days it decided to leak a little oil, others a lot, and others, none at all.
'85 Honda V30 Magna. "baby manga". 500cc V4. Very fast for a 500. Made me set to have another V4, so I got a Vmax.
'99 SeaDoo GTi. Parents bought this around 2001 or 2. 720cc. Slow. 45 on a good day and took it's time getting there. 3 people it would barely even plane off. Motor locked up at crank after oil pump died. Sold for junk.
'96 SkiDoo Forumula"S" 380. Starter sled, got it when I was like 15. Rode the piss out of it and it never missed a beat. Lost in garage fire
'03 SkiDoo REV 600HO. Upgrade from 380. Lost in garage fire
'05 Yamaha RX-Warrior. Scammed(not really, they scammed us in the end) cash for this out of the insurance from the garage fire. Powered by the same engine in your '02 R1, minus the transmission. Straight line fast, good on flat trails and lakes. Worthless everywhere else. Dead reliable and I beat the piss out of it, nothing broke until the secondary blew apart at 120mph going across a lake. Replaced it and sold last summer, used 1/2 the money to buy the Cat.
'85 Honda Nighthawk 650. Was going to try a "flip this bike" over the summer, bought it for $300 on craigslist. Carb clean got it running. Had a noisy lifter at a specific RPM that scared everyone away but otherwise ran/drove fine after some tinkering. Finally sold it for what I paid for it. That little valve tick(at precisely, and only 2800rpm) sent people running for their cars faster than women on black friday. It was by no means pristine but I was selling it as a starter bike anyway. Who cares if the motor ticks, you'll probably lay it down or sell it again in a month anyway. I sent it well past the 10k redline several times and it didn't break, so I deemed the valvetrain was fine.

Ehhhh...that's all for now.

My bikes...or at least some of them. I did not get all the photos to upload. The Orange bike is my Husqvarna 175GP that Malcolm Smith autographed for me. The Yellow one is my Husqvarna 125 OR,the little one is of course my XR75, the red one is my Penton 125 6 days, then there is the Vespa Ciao, Indian 4 stroke moped, Honda Rebel 450, Odyssey FL250, and my TT500. Im told that I have a hoarding issue that REALLY needs to be dealt with.:confused2::confused2::confused2:
All of these bikes run and I do ride them.:punk::punk::punk:

The good stuff:

Max and boats (not my boats. Happily unloaded them when I left Florida).
'85 ZL900 - recently totaled, but I'm bringin' her back for free! (Thanks Progressive)
The Mothership and best riding partner in the west! (On a recent ride up Yarnell Hill to Prescott, Hwy 89 - the Dragon has NOTHING on this run).

(On a recent ride up Yarnell Hill to Prescott, Hwy 89 - the Dragon has NOTHING on this run).
So damn true.. I actually just moved from Phoenix, only got to hit Yarnell and 89 a few times.. Have you been to Mt. Lemmon? IMHO, puts Yarnell/89 to shame.

These are the ones that are running:
'85 Max
'02 FZ1
'83 XJ550 w/sidecar
'02 EZGO

In boxes ready to be put back together but no time:
'89 GSXR1100
'69 BSA Spitfire 650 (in pieces for about 12 years now)

No other 4 wheel vehicles except my daily driver (they take up too much space in the garage.) But working on a '70 Vette....just got to get the wife to give up her spot in the garage.

My son on a friends DUC......
Some pics at the GAP.

Here's a pic of mine..

1968 Cutlass, my first car and I loved it but lost it in a garage fire :-(
1968 Cutlass, still under construction bodywork is all done and it's in primer now so gotta finish up the tin work and get cracking on the rst of it now. I did everything except the bodywork myself though..
1978 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 P/U, I have some new rims on it now but the rest of it still looks just as crappy! LOL I also included a pic of the engine I rebuilt for the truck, the thing is a beast that cannot be stopped!
My 2004 Grand Prix "pimpmobile" LOL, stock except tinted windows and a nice sound system, 2 12" JL audio subs, old school Rockford punch 200 driving them, Kenwood Excellon head unit, Infinity kappa 6 1/2" and 6"x9" interior speakers...

Plenty of pics of my Vmax on here already so I thought I'd add my old 94 GSXR that I got ran over on, totaled the bike and gave me 4 fractues and some roadrash, I still prefer to remember the bike this way though..

Nice pics.........Love the Cutty project!............Are you going to run true Olds power or stuff a Chevy between the fenders?...........Drivetrain specs please...........Too bad about your Suzuki, nice looking bike, glad your ok!..............Tom.

Tom, its a 468 big block olds, 12.3:1 compression, .700 lift roller cam, stock heads that have been heavily ported with 2.100 1.71 undercut swirl polished Manley valves and titanium retainers, Victor intake and a 1050 dominator carb, 2" primary headers and 3.5" exhaust. TH400 trans with a transbrake and 8" converter, Ford 9" rear with 4.56 gears with 33x18.5 et streets. Should go mid to low 10's on engine alone but I also have a pro shot fogger for it too ;-)

I've owned my '91 CR500 since high school. For the past few years I've been cleaning it up and replacing parts a little at a time. I just finished a motor rebuild and some paint work. I think some new plastics would set it off but I can't justify spending a lot of money to make it look pretty. Ill be happy if it keeps running :)

'92 Vmax, '03 FZ1, '98 GMC Sierra K1500 and soon a '09 to '11 GMC SUV for pulling trailer and better gas mileage on long trips. Ya'll know about my Vmax so I won't detail that but I will the rest.
'03 FZ1: Basically stock except for Dale Walker 4 into 1/ Air induction removal kit/ timing advance kit. Nice bike but is in need of top end work at some point, is way faster than the Vmax!
'98 GMC Sierra: 5.7l, 2 door, with a full length bed/ topper, Anti slip rearend, works pretty good on 2 tracks and old logging roads around here, great for Hunting.
'08-'11 GMC SUV: I'm looking of a GM certified Terrain/ Acadia to have a better vehicle for longer trips, need better gas mileage than the Sierra but still be able to pull a M/C trailer. Something a more comfortable than the Sierra too.

Here's my 2009. It now has light gray wheels, but I have yet to upload any fresh pics to my computer to share.

Daytona Bike Week 2012 005.jpg
Here's my Honda. We were at friends' house for Daytona rally last year.

SANY0635.jpg
This is Shala & I's Hondas up on the Blue Ridge Parkway in 2010.

1989 Honda NT650 "Hawk GT". Love this bike. Been 'restoring' it since July. Those who aren't familiar, these are kind of cult bikes like vmax. and yea thats right its a single sided swingarm, stock on a '89 honda.
