my drag bike has a big battery mod like that except its under the seat area still. Got a lot more room available with that bike then normal.
I think this is a problem....

#1 - get a new battery and put it back where it should be
also make sure it's charging properly (mosfet regulator upgrade?)
#2 - Repair the starting system (starter clutch/starter motor, whichever is worn)
#3 - replace that dirty breather filter with an oil separator / breather

With Seans kit...you still have basically stock carbs (the internals are different, jets, needles....etc) and you still have an airbox...so no crankcase venting.
