Rubber faux tank moulding - how to install?

Just got the rubber moulding piece that apparently mounts along the top edge of the faux tank between the tank and the tach. But I haven't figured out how it's supposed to go. Can someone take a pic of this rubber part on their tank so I can see how it goes?

I got mine from bikebandit, their part number is: 10418-001
