this is my 91'S-10 thats gone full 360*

in the buried pics it was sporting a 3" trailmaster body lift and 31" TSL Thornburgs, these tires sucked ass accept in ruts, in my opinion.

a short time after these photos, a guy rear ended me so i repainted the whole truck and grill, and got rid of the door trim.

this is what it looked like when i got out of the service and came home in Dec of 1998.

i washed it and waxed it then took it to Carlisle All Truck Nationals 1999, this started the show truck craze for me.

in the year 2000 the 4.3 took a serious shit on me, i guess all the arkansas swamp water that got swallowed by the motor finally caught up to it.

the new ZZ4 GM Performance crate engine. 355HP at fly wheel and 405 torque. we put this motor in at the end of 2000 and finished it up in 2001 sometime. i had the 700R4 tranny built out of all corvette parts that would fit in the case done by john patrick, owner of patricks frankstown service on frankstown road in johnstown. he told me that this tranny could handle up to 450HP no problem. he used to build race car transmissions. true dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers. 4.56 gears, eaton posi lock in the rear, 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Claw Radials, 15x10 eagle alloys. right after the motor swap it went down to where lee was working (selective wheels at that time) and had him do a trailmaster 5" suspension lift.

so after fighting for months with the girl who hit me head on's insurance company, they decided not to total it and gave me 8000 to fix it, so to the body shop it went. the frame that was under it got all twisted up all the way back so we had to get a new frame. while it was in the body shop i tore out the interior and tweeded everything myself, my buddy who owned the body shop laid down the red paint, i taped out the flames and masked off all the red, he laid the 3 phase diamond white pearl, i airbrushed the flames, he laid the clear. when it came out it was almost all customed by me to fit me and what i wanted at that time.

when it came out of the body shop, we went back to carlisle 2002. i won first place in my class again this year.

i didnt like the front bumer cover on there at all that year, but funds were depleted already for the year so i had to keep it for a year. i also didnt like the frame all painted up so i wire brushed it all back down and airbrushed it rustoleum black.

ooops, i guess drank to much Captain Morgan that year, and passed out getting up to go to my tent and slept where i fell, from what i am told.

back to carlisle in 2003, with a new front bumper. again i won first in my class.

well thats about where it is now. i am in the process of building a house in ogle town now, when its done i am building a 40x60 shop and tearing it back down and doing solid axle swap, 4 link front and rear, interior roll cage integrated into the bed and up front, mastercraft suspension seats, 5 point harness's and maybe full width axles, and i am going to wheel it again like i used to, or as it started life.

its only taken since 1995 to get it to this point and only about 3 rebuilds. time to see where the next rebuild takes me. when i start the next stage of the trucks life i will keep you updated. please let me know what ya think of the truck so far.

lets see some of your toys...

Sweet truck! Other than my Max I have a 2003 S10 Extreme 4.3 5 spd,and I'm in the process of building a new tube chassis drag car.

well i dont just do dirt, the chevy used to play in the dirt but i turned that into a 3 time national champion show truck, its probably gonna go back to dirt though, its funner than sweatin on a show field...

every 4x4 i own has a lift on it for some reason, maybe cause i live in the middle of nowhere on top of the mountains..

Don't have the Tbird anymore, sold it to cover some residual medical bills after mom passed away. Kind of a mixed thing. I really didn't fit in the car, but it was a chick magnet. :biglaugh: I heard it's back up for sale, $40k and it could be yours.

There's my 83' Dodge. I bought it from my folks, its been in the family since new. In '84 I took my driver's test in it. Ton of dates and memories later I still have it.
Like Dave, I engoy my firearms. some for home protection, some just to shoot. my Savage 16 .300wm and the model 29 SW are my favorites. dead on balls accurate, literal one hole goups. My favorite plinker is the gray 10/22 on the rack. The .22 below it was a Christmas present when I was 4. Its an old, rear cocking, single shot LR/SR shooter.

What I have pictures handy of.... people with low-rez screens go eeeeek now....

2005 Yamaha RX-Warrior. 1000cc inline 4, quad carbs, essentially a R1 motor without the transmission. It's the Vmax of the snow.

Here were the two sleds I used to have, an 03 skidoo REV 600, and a '96 ForumulaS 380 fan.
IM000529.jpg

And this is them about 6 months later. Garage fire from fuck-sticks at Midas spilling shit all over my mother's car's engine.
IM000560.jpg

This was my '85 Magna V30. Been gone a while, sold it a couple months after getting my Max. Great bike though and dead reliable. It's 30 inch V4 would eat 96 inch Hardlys. 65hp rated....peppy little bike
IMG_0187r.jpg

And check out that redline!
IMG_0188r.jpg

Here was my first bike I learned on, a '82 Suzuki GS450 "Suzukimatic". Two speed semi-automatic. Notice the oil spots under it...it'd been put in a ditch before and the oil pan was a little tweaked. Only had it for a couple months before buying the above Magna.

Here's the air cannon I built....far, far more powerful than a hairspray potato gun. Compressed air at 120psi on a 24V solenoid valve. Three 9v's in series trips it. At work, we were messing around and it put a golf ball through two ceilings and out the roof of the building. It has serious power, it'll chuck a full beer out of sight. Better kneel, if you shoot a full can standing it'll knock you on your ass from the recoil. Four barrels...3/4", 1", 1.5", 2" that screw on, so you always get a good seal with whatever you decide to shove in it.
560964339_1988231130_0.jpg

I had this for a short while. It's a Kikker5150 "Bonesaw" mini-chopper. 50cc weedeater motor. Would do like 20mph or so. Unfortunately, that raked out front end and "cramped" riding position didn't lend stability to any speed whatsoever. Sold it on ebay for more than I bought it for.
3056_12.jpg

Here's my current minibike. Started life as one of those "Baja" bikes you can buy at Tractor Supply stores I bought secondhand off craigslist for $300. Beat on it for a year, then found a Briggs 10hp new in box off craigslist for $150, swapped that in, found a Comet Torq-A-Verter, modified that to work, and went nuts from there. Full electrical system, lights, electric start, blinkers, tail/brake, tach, speedo, would do 55mph and average about 40mpg from it's 305cc single.
470308490_1645150519_0.jpg

Had this quad for most of last summer. '93 Suzuki Quadrunner4x4. Problem was, it weighted about six tons and only had a measly 250cc single to push it around. It did have 15 forward and 3 reverse speeds though (5spd semi auto, and 3 range transfer case), lockers, and would pull a 5000lb boat up a boat ramp in it's "super low" range. Tough as hell and would go anywhere, but holy crap was it slow. The rear hub let go and I didn't feel like fixing it, traded it as-is for a '90 Blaster. Nice shape, runs excellent, and for a 200cc single (2 stroke), it goes like hell. It'll push 60 and has that screamer 2 stroke top end powerband.

513937863_1811099419_0.jpg

This dune buggy/sandrail/whatever you want to call it has been gone for a long time. Traded it for my first truck. Had a '71 Beetle motor and a '68 transmission. 1600cc flat four, about 60hp. What I originally learned to work on motors and electrical and all the other crap that went wrong with it. Also learned how to drive manual on it when I was 13.
