supertrapp sensor mount

I have a set of supertrapp slip on mufflers to fit to a 96 max. One of them appears to have a boss for a sensor in the part of the pipe that slips on. Is there a slot on the oe pipe to take this? Asking this before I take the oe pipes off as they are a pain to get back on lol.

I don't think mine had a sensor on them. There's not a spot on the stock pipes.

Yep, stock exhaust didnt have a sensor in them. The only sensor that I know of for Supertrapps wouldve been an add on.

May be a O2 sensor bung. If the thread is 18x1,5 then it is.

Just an fyi. I drilled out the boss and covered hole with exhaust paste, sprite can and hose clamps. Not pretty but worked lol

Too small thread for an 02 sensor, Maybe EGT but useless since the primary tubes already get them..
