Just saying hi. I bought my VMAX last week. I hope to enjoy riding after a looong time. I'm remembering how ride again, :punk: this thing is a different animal from the practice bike I got got prior to the Vmax.

So, the other bike is a Vulcan 750. It had a hard life with its previous owners. Now it's my project bike which might end up powered by electrons. But more on that later, much later.

So far, it has a couple of simple mods...enjoy.

It also need a signal light replaced. This was cheaper than any replacement light I could find

Welcome! Remember, the only dumb question is the one not asked! There are people here who are experts in every aspect of the VMax, and everyone is willing to help.

Thanks to all!

Welcome to the forum!! I started riding since I was 12, first scoot was a Western Flyer trailbike. Moved up to a Yamaha RD60. In 1985 I fell in love with two Yamahas, first the Vmax and second was Phazer, but since I was a poor two striper in the Air Force, I could afford neither bike. Then in 1989 I bought my first real streetbike, a 1984 Honda Nighthawk S. Ten years later I graduated to a 1994 Suzuki RF900R. Which brings me to three years ago, I bought my current bike, a 2000 Vmax.....

Thanks to all!

I had a lot of fun in the cyclones when I was working at a gm dealership doing a lot of pdis back then . It is nice being able to dog on something that does not belong to any one yet.lol
