where are those 4 digit number on my 1985

If it is the la 4 of the VIn my are 0208 prod date 1/85

Do did add value the the bike ?

Front right side of the steering head. If the label is gone, the #'s are stamped into the metal, same place.
 
A friend of mine showed it to me, he knows I have an affliction, he is an enabler!!! No, not mine, wish it was. It was in very-good condition for its age.

i did look 1/85 0208
the think run great . lot faster than my buell
feel faster that ny cbr 900
love the sound of the muffler
Best bike i ever own .

Only problem first gear pop out ont nutral
only went i puch hard a off to spind the rear wheel

where can i find a tread for Q ont that .

I updated the list of 85 Max's to include yours.....post more info regarding mileage, modifications, CA or US model, etc. I'll add that also.

The list is on page 52 of this thread.
 
I tried to edit my post on my 85. Mine is 847 not 874 my mistake :bang head:

the edit on my current mileage worked ok.
