Hey guys, I know this is not a Vmax question but don't know where to turn for help. Awhile back I started my Fazer and the throttle was stuck wide open. After a closer look the outer part of the cable slipped out of its resting place that looks like a little barrel on the carb side that is supposed to keep it from moving. Nothing holds it on there except for the spring pressure on the linkage. Bought a new cable thinking it was getting hung up or something and now the bike still revs up when I even just touch the cable. Seems now it's pulling on the throttle grip side causing it to rev up. Cable is routed in the same location as it was when i got this thing and it ran fine. What is going on here? Anyone have any ideas?

Looks like the adjustment on the bar is too loose (screwed all the way in). You need to unscrew it and in effect make the sheath longer.
