Ok so back to fitting the COPs, finally. Here are the front wires prepared - notice that the #4 wire has to be longer to reach down to the right-hand cylinder from the connector on the left which is pretty close to the main harness: Here's #4 connected... ...all taped up... ...and fed...

As I went to do the front COPs, I thought there was no way I would leave the original coils in place - after all the COPs mod is as much about saving weight and space as it is about better performance through less resistance in the coils circuit and better reliability through removing those...

Most may be familiar with my post about running commonly available COP's from most late model sport bikes. They are pretty cheap, and very easy to add to Mr. Max. Pluses are easier startup, better throttle response and making way for a little more room on the already cramped for space V-max...
