33 years ago today, I picked the bike up at the dealer. $5395 new, and 0.4 miles on the odometer. I never would have believed I'd still be riding it after so many years and miles. Hopefully, we both have many more good years and miles to ride.

Weeeeeellllll, I went to ride the Vmax the last 100 feet of the year, and it would not start! Fully charged battery, lights nice and bright. Vboost cycles, fuel pump clicks. Cranks over great. I pulled a COP stick, and got no spark at all. One thing I did notice is the tachometer did not move...

It's been a good 30th year for my Vmax.. Started out with a really banged up and rusty set of mufflers, a faded original paint job, and a charging system that was adequete. Finished the season with a bike that charges perfectly, has a great looking and sounding exhaust, and a killer paint...
