secondary

Do you have to remove the front ign coils to test the secondary resistance,or can you remove the plug cap and test them through the HT lead.

Long story short, I washed and waxed up my Vmax for storage last fall. I tried to start it to move it, and it would not start, wet plugs from old rubber on spark plugs. Plus I found a cap on its way out. So fast forward to today when Im replacing the caps, plugs and doing other preseason...

Hello All I was testing out the resistance of my coils today and the only place I could get an accurate reading was at the very very tip of the coil, it wouldnt read any where else. Just wondering if this is normal. Thanks if advance Cheers:cheers:
