Anyone used the UFO 1.5" caps OR how to reduce ear bleeding from the StreetPro?

170 main jet with UFO StreetPro 4-2 and otherwise stock bike?
I bought an '03 Vmax with the UFO StreetPro 4-2 on it. I've got the carbs apart to clean them because the bike felt and sounded like it was running on three cylinders at 5000+ rpm.
