For those that want a thumb screw for cruise could this screw hole be used with a spring of course to hold the clamp? I screwed a long screw into it one day and it hits the grip housing at a good angle?

I lost my idle thumb screw and was wondering if anyone knew what size thread it has? I might roll over to ace hardware or menards and see if they got sumptin that will work...
