gauge cluster bulbs confusion

Hi everyone. just alittle confused abt the type of bulbs that are in the cluster and speedo. In a post going back many yrs some have changed out bulbs to led. But they use 74 (x, xp, bhp(3)) wedge base type. But is 74 the same as t5 bulbs? So basically. What type of bulbs go in the cluster and speedo. thanks
