1985 Vmax with stage 7 and 4-2 exhaust. Clutch slippage has gradually become more noticeable at WOT above 5-6,000 rpm in the higher gears. I pulled the clutch apart and checked it - the frictions looked good and no hot spots on the steels, so I bead blasted the steels and reassembled it - no real change. Contacted Sean and he advised that the easiest thing to try first is his slightly heavier spring (about 20% more capacity than stock). I finally got around to installing it yesterday and from a short ride full of WOT accels, that seems to have fixed my problem. Thanks, Sean!

Side note: I've now removed & reinstalled my clutch cover at least twice and have not noticed any gasket damage either time, so I've gone back on with the same gasket. Still no leaks...
