Figured it out it attaches to the upper triple tree pinch bolts.

I have a roll bag on back of my 'max just like yours, except mine is the Viking brand.

I really like it.

I have various bags on my bikes and the roll bag is easy to get into and it stores what I need for a day trip.

I don't see any of the hardware, that would be necessary, on the front of the bike. I would leave it off. The bike looks great without it. Unless you're planning on long touring rides... let the wind blow!

Yeah I mounted it just to see what it looks like…..Max looks great either way.
